R-0019-3 Will The Circle Be Unbroken (traditional) - Bob appears as "Tedham Porterhouse" playing harmonica (stereo version), recorded New York, late 1963/early 1964
For the original 1964 mono and stereo Vanguard Jack Elliott albums, see 1964.

The rear insert is dated "90-5-21" (212 May 1990) and has a price of ¥2.300 (¥2,233 plus sales tax). This copy is missing its obi. R-0111M-3 Election Year Rag (Steve Goodman) - Bob plays piano and provides harmony vocals (mono version)
This track from the original 1972 sessions was included on this release as a bonus track. For its original release as a single see 1972 and for The Essential... Steve Goodman 2LP compilation see 1976. Thanks to Larry Crum for the information that this track is in mono and therefore R-0111M, not the stereo version R-0111 as originally listed.

This album was re-released by Buddha Records in 1999 in a remastered edition with different bonus tracks not including Election Year Rag, so is listed in 1972 with the original album. Confusingly, R-0111 actually appears, this time in stereo, on the Buddha Records 1999 CD reissue of Steve's 1971 album Steve Goodman, see 1999.

This performance also appeared on Mr. Tambourine Man, a German Classic Hits one song compilation CD also including Bob's 1963 demo version from 2010's The Bootleg Series Vol. 9 - The Witmark Demos 1962-1964, see 2012.

R-0217-2 Mr. Tambourine Man - with the Byrds, recorded at the Roy Orbison Tribute Concert, Universal Amphitheatre, Los Angeles, CA, 24 Feb 1990

The set also includes the Byrds performing their version of Pete Seeger's Turn! Turn! Turn! from this concert as well as many Dylan covers.

The 12" x 6" box itself is plain black, with an (unscannable) impressed Byrds logo. There is a 12" x 6" 56-page booklet, part of which is shown below. The CDs are in standard jewel cases. Thanks to Jack Guerreiro for scans. His CD4 is slightly different from mine, both in colour and in the different placing of the text "DIDP 074016" at the bottom. The "DIDP" number (Digital Identification Popular) is a code used by Sony DADC (Digital Audio Disc Corporation) on CDs pressed in Terre Haute, IN, or one of their other CD plants in the USA, from 1983 onwards (Classical CDs had "DIDC").

Thanks to Fred Muller for finding There Is A Season, a 2006 Sony Music 4CD Byrds set that contains a version of Mr. Tambourine Man on CD4. Thanks to Dag Braathen and Bob Stacy for confirming this is a live version from 1973 used in the film "Banjoman", not R-0217.
