Lone Justice - "The World Is Not My Home: The Best Of Lone Justice" - compilation CD, Geffen GEFD 25304 (USA), Jan 1999:

Geffen GEFD 25304 (USA) - front insert (my copy)

R-0274 Go Away Little Boy - Bob appears on Lone Justice's version of one of his unreleased compositions (an out-take from Empire Burlesque, this is a remix by Bob Clearmountain of R-0163, the bonus track that appeared on the B-side of the 12" single of Sweet Sweet Baby (I'm Falling) (Remix) in 1985. The lyrics have disappeared from bobdylan.com!

Geffen GEFD 25304 (USA) - CD

Geffen GEFD 25304 (USA) - inside of unfolded front insert

Bob plays rhythm guitar. I previously said that Bob may also have played harmonica on this track - however, it's clearly stated on the 1999 and 2003 releases of the song that the harmonica was played by Maria McKee. Thanks to Jean-Pol Hiernaux for this information. R-0274 also appears on The Best Of Lone Justice: The Millennium Collection, see 2003.

It is rumoured that Lone Justice also recorded a cover of Clean-Cut Kid at this 1984 session, again accompanied by Bob, and that this track was also considered for The World Is Not My Home compilation, but could not be included for contractual reasons.

The front insert is a single sheet folded into four parts.

This track is misdated on the CD as 20 Dec 1997, but it's actually the same as the bobdylan.com track which appeared on the 1998 European and Japanese Love Sick singles and the Australian tour limited edition set of Time Out Of Mind. Although Bob did perform Cold Irons Bound at the El Rey Theater on 20 Dec 1997 (he performed it on all five nights of the residency), this isn't that performance!

This promo CD single was also issued in Europe, Columbia SAMPCM 7194 (see also 2000).

Steve Goodman (see 1976) and as a bonus track (still in mono) on a CD reissue of Somebody Else's Troubles, see 1990. Bob appeared originally as "Robert Milkwood Thomas", but is here credited openly. Thanks to Larry Crum for the information that this is the only source of the stereo version of this track on CD.

The promo CD comes in a blue/yellow card sleeve. There was also a US promo CD release of the second Steve Goodman album Somebody Else's Troubles in a blue/yellow card sleeve, Buddha Records BUADV 99626-2, listed in 1972.

Watch out you get the right CD! Alan Hoaksey adds: "I have two CDs with this front design.  Both CDs are simply called Steve Goodman. One is Canadian (Buddah Records Cat.
