The 1974 Live Recordings, a 27CD boxed set by Bob Dylan and The Band, released worldwide on 20 Sep 2024. This includes all the tracks previously released on the 2LP set Before The Flood in 1974 as well as Highway 61 Revisited, recorded live with The Band at Madison Square Garden, New York, 31 Jan 1974 (evening show), which appears on the Capitol/EMI boxed set The Band: A Musical History, see 2005. A 3LP Box Set Vault Package #61: The 1974 Live Recordings - The Missing Songs From "Before The Flood"will be released by Third Man Records featuring 24 songs from the 1974 tour not included on Before The Flood USA/Europe: Columbia/Legacy/Sony Music 19658890932Japan: Sony Music SICP-6621~47

The US release is a 5" x 5" x 3.4" box containing the 27 CDs in card sleeves plus a 44 page booklet with many new photographs, all by Barry Feinstein. The European release is the US release with an outside wrapper inside the shrink wrap covering the rear and bottom of the box, although the CDs were made in the EU.

The Japanese release is the US release with a Japanese outside wrapper and a 112 page Japanese language booklet inside the shrink wrap. The Japanese booklet contains:

・Translation of Elizabeth Nelson's liner notes

・English and Japanese lyrics

・Essay by Heckel Sugano (must be his memoir of Chicago Stadium, 3-Jan-74)

・Song-by-song commentaries by Kenta Hagiwara

・Essay by Kenji Muroya, a Deadhead and an attendee at these Dylan concerts: the Forest Hill show, 28 Aug 1965; all concerts from Madison Square Garden to Inglewood Forum, 1974; S.N.A.C.K. Benefit, 23 Mar 1975; The Last Waltz.

This map lists the Dayton, OH, show for 1 Feb 1974, which was cancelled. Other shows that were cancelled but not listed on this map were Ottawa, Canada, 11 Jan 1974; San Diego, CA, 12 Feb 1974; and Honolulu, Hawaii, 16 Feb 1974. As part of their "Vault Package" series Third Man Records have released a 3LP set with 24 songs that were not on Before The Flood. The records are made of green vinyl and there is a bonus 7" single on light green vinyl with Blowin' In The Wind from Before The Flood and Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I’ll Go Mine), not on the 3LP set and not the Before The Flood version. The set is in a trifold 12" sleeve with an insert and a Tour Book.
